October 2024. Provisional data. The annual rate of the Business Turnover stands at 2.5% in the seasonal and calendar adjusted series and 4.9% in the original. The monthly variation of the Business Turnover stands at 0.8%, after seasonal and calendar adjustment.

October 2024. Provisional data. The annual variation of the Market Services Sector turnover index was 3.6% in October in the seasonally and calendar adjusted series. The monthly rate was 0.6% if seasonal and calendar effects are removed.

Third Quarter 2024. The number of trips by residents of Spain decreased by 0.2% in the thrid quarter of 2024 and stood at 60.4 million. Total expenditure increased by 4.2%, and exceeded 24,544 million euros. AndalucÍa, Cataluña and Comunitat Valenciana were the main destinations.

October 2024. Provisional data. The number of mortgages constituted on dwellings recorded in the land registries in October was 51,535, 60.8% more in annual rate. The average amount of mortgages on dwellings increased by 7.3% and stood at 150,556 euros. The average interest rate on new mortgages on dwellings was 3.12%.

1 January 2024. Preliminary Results . The population of Spain stood at 48,619,695 inhabitants as of 1 January 2024, with an increase of more than 500,000 people in one year. 13.4% of the population had foreign nationality and 18.2% were born outside of Spain. The largest increases in foreign residents during 2023 were among citizens of Colombia (124,566 more), Peru (47,598), and Venezuela (47,095).
