Target 2.4. Sub-indicator 2.4.1.4. Ammonia emissions from agriculture
Ammonia emissions from agricultural activities. Includes fertilisation as well as urine and manure deposited by grazing animals.
Different methodology depending on the activity (inorganic nitrogen fertilisers, organic fertilisers, animal manure and sewage sludge applied to the soil, as well as urine and manure deposited by grazing animals).

The territorial scope of this sub-indicator includes the Canary Islands while Eurostat does not consider it because it does not fall within the EMEP domain (Co-operative programme for monitoring and evaluation of long range transmission of air pollutants in Europe).
