Sub-indicator 2.a.1.1. Agriculture orientation index for government expenditures
The Agricultural Orientation Index (AOI) for public expenditure is defined as the share of Agriculture in public expenditure, divided by the share of Agriculture's gross value added in GDP, where Agriculture refers to the agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting sector.
\[ AOI^t=\frac{\frac{G^t_a}{G^t}}{\frac{VAB_a^t}{PIB^t}}\cdot 100 \] donde \(G_a^t\) y \(G^t\) representan el gasto público en agricultura y en el gasto público total para el año t, \(VAB_a^t\) y \( PIB^t\) representan el Valor Añadido Bruto de la agricultura y el Producto Interior Bruto para el año t.
