This indicator measures progress towards achieving the second Aichi Target of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020

A value of 0 to 1 depending on the progress made in achieving the second Aichi Target (ABT 2) of the Strategic Plan for Biological Diversity 2011-2020. This progress is assessed in the National Reports. The score is assigned in the range of 0-1 as follows: ¿ 0.0 there is no national target that reflects ABT 2 ¿ 0.2 there is a national target, but progress is being made in the opposite direction ¿ 0.4 there is a national target, but no progress is being seen towards its achievement ¿ 0.6 there is a national target, and there is significant but still insufficient progress ¿ 0.8 there is a national target, and sufficient progress that will allow its achievement ¿ 1.0 there is a national target, and progress that will allow it to be exceeded
