Measures energy consumption used directly by the economy, it corresponds to the sum of domestic extractions of natural energy inputs and imports of energy products and energy residuals (waste for energetic use), deducts exports of energy products and residuals. For the total economy, Net domestic energy use and Domestic energy consumption differ only by energy from waste, changes in inventories and produced assets and statistical differences.
