Definition

Corresponds to the final energy consumption by end users, energy sectors¿ own use, losses during transformation (for example, from oil or gas into electricity) and distribution of energy, as well as those amounts of international aviation and international marine bunkers consumed by resident units. For the total economy, Net domestic energy use and Domestic energy consumption differ only by energy from waste, changes in inventories and produced assets and statistical differences.
