Notes
1) Up to the year 2006 (included), the questionnaire of the Survey on Water Supply and Treatment: -The variable 'Total volume of water registered and distributed by type of user' was asked as 'total water volume controlled and supplied to users'. -The variabe 'Real losses' was asked in the questionnaire with the literal 'Water volume losses in the distribution network (leaks, breakdowns, ...)'. -The variable 'Apparent losses' was not asked in the survey questionnaire. -The variable 'water volume supplied to the public supply network' was not asked in the questionnaire. Its estimation was made summing the variables: 'total water volume controlled and supplied to users' and 'Water volume losses in the distribution network (leaks, breakdowns, ...)'. This methodological changes must be taken into account when comparing data and indicators of the 2000-2006 series with the infomation from 2007 onwards.
