Domestic material consumption (DMC) per unit of GDP indicates the consumption of materials in an economy.
Calculation method
$$\textit{Domestic Materials Consumption per GDP}^{t}=\frac{\textit{DMC}^{t}}{\textit{GDP}^{t}}$$
,where \(DMC^{t}\) is Domestic Materials Consumption and \(GDP^{t}\) is Gross Domestic Product, both in year t.
