The Wage of persons with disabilities is an operation whose purpose is knowing the wage distribution of employees with a officially recognized disability, and it does so by comparing it with employees without any disability.
The statistical operation is the result of a collaboration agreement among the INE and the IMSERSO, the Directorate General for the Coordination of Sectoral Policy for Persons with Disabilities, the Spanish Committee for Persons with Disabilities (CERMI) and the ONCE Foundation. For its realisation, the information from the integration of data from the Wage Structure Survey with the administrative data from the General Treasury of the Social Security on the promotion of employment, from the Registro de Prestaciones Sociales Públicas del Instituto Nacional de Seguridad Social and data registered on the State Database of Persons with Disabilities (BEPD), which provides information on the characteristics of citizens with an officially recognised disability.
