Concept selected: Pasturing on land forming part of the holding
- Definition
-
Area used as pasture land in the holding. During the agricultural campaign, by the holding livestock considered. This land may also be used via mowing. The pastures maybe the property of the holding, or they may be leased during the campaign for the sole use of their animals. This does not include the communal pastures that are not assigned (by lottery or as a lease), and in those where animals from several holdings graze at the same time, or in successive periods during the campaign. For this area, we study the number of months, during the agricultural campaign, in which the animals from the holding have been grazing on this land, regardless of whether they have stayed there or in the stables overnight.
