Definition

A person who resides regularly in a dwelling is considered absent (temporarily) if they do not sleep in the dwelling any of the nights of the collaboration period.

Notes

Reasons for absence may be: Studying: For example, students residing in a group household or in a student flat during term-time and depend on the household economically. Illness: For example, persons admitted to hospital, sanatorium, etc. who are economically dependent on this household and are considering returning to it (in such cases, the duration of the absence is used to determine whether the person is a household member or not). Temporary work: For example, the head of the family temporarily working away from home. Other causes: For example, persons in prison, asylums, etc.
